Security & Privacy

Student data, privacy, and school trust matter.

LaMusix is built for teachers, students, families, and music schools that need clearer lesson accountability without losing sight of student privacy, account access, and responsible data handling.

Our Approach

LaMusix keeps the learning workflow visible while keeping access intentional.

Music education involves students, teachers, parents, and administrators. LaMusix is designed to make assignments, practice, resources, and progress easier to understand while keeping account access tied to the roles that need it.

Role-aware workflows

Teachers, students, families, and school leaders need different views of the lesson cycle. LaMusix separates those workflows so users can focus on the information that fits their role.

School implementation conversations

For academies, conservatories, and larger programs, demos can include how accounts, teacher access, student visibility, and parent communication should work for your school.

Privacy questions before adoption

Schools can ask about student data handling, privacy expectations, implementation needs, and FERPA-related questions before deciding how LaMusix fits their program.

Student Data

A practical review path for music schools and conservatories.

LaMusix does not replace your school's own policies or legal review. It gives your team a focused way to discuss product behavior, student data, account access, and implementation before launch. Schools should review LaMusix alongside their own privacy policies and compliance requirements.

Access and roles

Clarify which users need teacher, student, family, or administrator access before inviting a full program.

Data questions

Discuss what information is used for assignments, practice tracking, progress visibility, and school oversight.

FERPA-related review

Use a school demo to ask how LaMusix supports your own FERPA-related process. Official FERPA guidance is available from the U.S. Department of Education's Student Privacy Policy Office.

Legal Policies

These policies explain how Studio by LaMusix works, what users agree to when using the platform, and how LaMusix handles account, lesson, practice, classroom, and student-related information.
